Veterans & Family Memorial Care
Whether you are a veteran making pre-plan arrangements or a family member making funeral arrangements for a veteran in the time of need, Burton Quinn-Scott will treat you with the utmost respect. Moreover, Burton Quinn-Scott offers veterans a 10 percent discount on paid-in-full pre-arrangements.
Honor & Appreciation
From the time a deceased veteran enters our care, Burton Quinn Scott provides the highest level of professionalism and heartfelt compassion to families. A custom-made American flag is draped over the stretcher to transport the veteran from the place of death into our care. It provides a respectful and patriotic way to honor the deceased.
Transport & Procession
The coach for a deceased veteran is identified with the flag of our country and the emblem of the branch of service in which they served. They are displayed on the back and side doors of the vehicle. The lead vehicle also displays the flag and emblem. All vehicles accompanying the veteran to the final resting place are also outfitted with American flags.
Patriot's March
Prior to the arrival of the funeral procession our staff can prepare the place of burial or remembrance for complete military honors. We will create a path consisting of a double row of flags from the driveway where the procession stops. This creates a unique Patriot’s March to honor the final approach to the gravesite or columbarium
Honor Guard
Veterans and their families can choose a variety of options for honor guard rituals. Local VFW posts, American Legions, Marine Corps Leagues and active duty personnel are available to assist. Burton Quinn Scott can coordinate every detail to create a meaningful farewell and salute.
No Need to Worry About Paperwork
Burton Quinn Scott will handle all necessary paperwork for families to receive their entitled veteran funeral service benefits.
Presidential Memorial Certificate
To further honor the deceased veteran, we request a Presidential Memorial Certificate for the spouse, children or family members requesting one. These certificates are signed by the President of the United States and are placed in a frame for a treasured family keepsake.
Veteran Tributes
We are happy to create a video tribute in honor of the deceased veteran. A custom video tribute can be viewable during the visiting hours, during the ceremony and afterwards at home.
