Peter enjoys giving back to his community. He enjoys and loves the outdoors, biking, hiking, four-wheeling, snow skiing, and boating on Lake Erie. Peter has three children, and two of them have joined the family business of 6th generation. Ben Burton is part of the team at Ericson Memorial's and Jenna Burton is working at the funeral home becoming a 6th generation Funeral Director with the family.

Bill has been associated with the Burton Funeral Home since 1982 and most recently merged into the Burton Funeral Home in 2018. Bill will continue to serve family’s and pre-arrange services at Burton. Bill resides in Erie with his wife Renee.

Jim enjoys hunting, fishing traveling and spending time with his family. He is married to Denise and has two sons, Dr. Jared J. Scott and Dr. Justin D. Scott, daughter in law, Beth and grandson Henry James Scott.

Jack worked in his family’s coal business Household Fuel until the age of 18. He met his soon to be wife, Phyllis, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sunday school class. They dated for a little while and ended up being married for 65 plus years. During that time they went to Germany when Jack was serving in the U.S. Army for 18 months from 1953 until 1955. Together they lived above the old Burton Westlake Funeral Home at Eight and Powell Avenue for more then 20 years where they raised their four sons. Jack now enjoys spending time with his family including his seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He also enjoys golfing. Jack has worked at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home as a Funeral Director and the Supervisor for many years. He has in the past and continues presently to compassionately serve many families and the Erie Community.

Terry was born and raised in Erie. He joined Burton Funeral Homes in 1987 assisting in the prearrangement & aftercare area of the business. Terry is a licensed funeral director and he has over 30 years experience in counseling & assisting families in the many senior issues and business details that need to be addressed before and after a death. Terry has also been a licensed life insurance agent since 1987 which has aided him in counseling Burton families. Terry enjoys adding a delicate & appropriate amount of humor in assisting families through the grieving process.
Terry lives in Fairview with his wife Sharon (who is also his assistant) and their dogs. They have 5 grown children and are enjoying their empty nest and the antics of their grandsons, Kaeden and Hudson.

Ray served our Country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War in Cu Chi Vietnam and Germany from 1965 until 1968.
Ray Breter helps our organization in many ways. You may see him on his daily route to expedite and deliver paperwork or running errands, necessary to provide the best service possible to the families we serve. Ray is very involved with Pet Loss Services by Burton on a daily basis. He works closely with many Veterinary Hospitals and sometimes with families, throughout Erie County providing the same quality of service and care to those families, experiencing the loss of family pets. Prior to his current role here as Courier, Ray was involved with many funeral services. He was able to take a WWII Commander to Arlington National Cemetery with Full Military Honors and Fly over. Ray's motto is "Always put others before myself."
