Zachary Malena

Zachary Malena age 41, of Millcreek, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022.

He was born in Erie on June 27, 1980 a son of Frank Malena (Joy) and Heidi Danielewicz (Mark)

Zack graduated from McDowell High School in 1999.

He owned and operated Frank’s Cleaners and was part owner of Malena Properties.

Zack loved his family and enjoyed going to camp, hunting, fishing, boating, traveling, cars and motorcycles. His family and friends meant the world to him and he was always the life of the party. He always knew how to light up the room and put a smile on everyone’s face. Zack brought love, kindness and laughter to everyone. He loved his dog Maddox.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Sara Hemphill Malena; a son, Kaden Petruso a step-daughter, Aryanna Hemphill two brothers, Eric (Megan) Malena and Nick (Kate) Danielewicz; step-siblings, Jonathan and Maeghan Weibel, Brienna and Kevin Puskaric and Rachel Weibel and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, 3801 W. 26^th Street on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and are invited to services there on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery at a later date.
