Yuriy Khodzhayan

Yuriy Khodzhayan, age 76, of Millcreek, passed away Friday July 10, 2015 at his residence.

Yuriy was born February 22, 1939, in the former U.S.S.R., son of the late Artashes and Shushanik Khodzayan.

He was a Squadron Command Officer in the former U.S.S.R. , a Captain in the Civil Airlines for 35 years and worked for the former Erie Aviation in Erie for 13 years. He was an avid airplane enthusiast and enjoyed building model planes.

Yuriy is survived by his wife of 52 years Rimma; a son Sam and his wife Lola, a son Sergey and his wife Rose; and grandchildren Stephanie, Elaine, Nicole, and Yuriy.

Friends are invited to call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street (at Powell Ave.) on Sunday from 2 to 5pm and are invited to attend the funeral service there on Monday at 1pm.

Burial will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
