Wilma Olsen Dahlstrand

Wilma Jordan Kuhns Olsen Dahlstrand, age 92, of Millcreek, passed away as a result of an automobile accident on August 8, 2013.

She was born in Erie, on July 30, 1921, a daughter of the late Morris Blanchard and Marie Bahr Jordan. She accepted the Lord as her Savior at an early age and has loved and served him ever since.

She attended the Little Church on the Terrace, Asbury United Methodist, Grace Baptist Churches and the First Alliance Church. At the time of her home going she was attending the Federated Church in East Springfield with her son Paul. She served the Lord in a variety of ways. She enjoyed singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School and attending Bible Study for many years.

As a young woman she worked at Talon. She enjoyed sewing and crafts and was a homemaker most of her life.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Harry E. Kuhns; her second husband Dwight A. Olsen; a son Ronald M. Kuhns; and brothers Raymond, Theodore and Clarence Jordan.

She is survived by her son, Paul E. Kuhns; a daughter, Marie L. Burkhart and her husband Dennis; two step-children, Roger A. Olsen and wife Barbara and Sharon A. Olsen all of Erie and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th St. Erie on Tuesday, August 20th from 1 until the time of service at 2pm with Pastor Ed Huntley officiating and Pastor Clark Rose assisting. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
