William Sandell

William A. Sandell, age 73, of Fairview, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at St. Vincent Health Center.

He was born in Wesleyville, on May 9, 1941, the son of the late William F. and Catherine Verdone Sandell.

William graduated from Wesleyville High School. After serving in the U. S. Navy, he was a self-employed contractor and worked as A.O. Smith. He was an artist and loved landscaping. William had been a boxer, body builder and played semi pro football.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Sandell and a grandson, Corey Sandell.

William is survived by his three sons: Bill Sandell and his wife Debbie of Springboro, Shad Sandell of Albion and son, Kris Sandell and his wife Lisa of Fairview; a sister, Dixie Sandell of Fairview; brothers: Wendel Sandell of Harborcreek and Tom Sandell of Erie; he is further survived by many grandchildren.
