William Masterson

William D. Masterson, age 73, of Erie, passed away on January 5, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born in Erie on December 2, 1947, a son of the late William L. and Stella Tologo Masterson.

He graduated from McDowell High School before entering the United States Navy. After serving our country, he graduated from Penn State University. William worked in sales for Eastman Kodak both in Rochester, NY and San Francisco.

William loved sports, especially all three Cleveland teams. He enjoyed traveling to State College and watching the Penn State Nittany Lions play football as well. During the summer, William would spend most of his days on the beaches of Presque Isle.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

William is survived by his brother, Robert (Margaret) Masterson, of Erie; his sister, Deb (Frank) O’Neill, of Redwood, CA; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on the family at Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home, 2532 Norcross Rd., Erie, on Friday, January 8, 2021 from noon until the time of service at 3:00, officiated by Pastor James Parkinson. All CDC guidelines will be followed including wearing masks, social distancing and capacity limits.
