William H. Kensill, age 80, of Erie, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at LECOM Senior Living Center.
He was born in Erie on December 16, 1941, a son of the late Bernard W. and Caroline E. Fullerton Kensill.
William attended Academy High School. He worked as a Truck Driver for Burham Lumber Co., in Erie, PA. He will be remembered for his love of cars and trucks. He loved to tell stories of his days driving trucks for a living.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Burlingame Kensill, and a sister, Loretta I. Lehman and brother-in-law, Arthur R. Lehman.
He is survived by his sisters, Carol A. (Donald) King and Kathryn A. Kensill, both of Erie, a brother, Harvey V. (Evelyn) Kensill, of Erie, four nieces, Melanie (Daniel) Ditzel, of Erie, Wendy (Trevor) Heberlein, of North East, PA, Heather Kensill and Melissa (Joe) Kensill-Hake, both of Erie; three nephews, Arthur Lehman and Stefan (Adelle) Lehman, of West Springfield and Alan (Alexandra) Lehman, of Cambridge Springs, PA, as well as four grandnephews, Jakob and Hunter Ditzel, of Erie and Hudson and Wyatt Heberlein, of North East, PA.
Friends may call on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 11 a.m. until time of Celebration of Life Service at 12 noon at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., Wintergreen 2532 Norcross Road, Erie, officiated by Reverend Richard Moyer. Private inurnment in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
