William Hershberger

William E. Hershberger, Sr., age 89, passed away at Forestview, and formerly of Waterford, on Friday, August 7, 2015.

He was born March 11, 1926 in Sewickley, PA, a son of the late Dorothea Gittins Love and John Howard Love.

He worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Labor Mediator prior to his retirement.

He enjoyed gardening, birdwatching, traveling, and visiting with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Dotty Chesney.

Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Heidi H. Hershberger, two daughters, Leslie Fine (husband Vindel) of Florida, and Robin Watson (husband Donovan) of Florida; a son, William E. Hershberger, Jr. (wife Mary Ann), of Texas. He is further survived by eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Bill is further survived by his brother John H. Love (wife Robin) of Erie, brothers-in-law Charles Holland (wife Gretchen) and George Holland, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and his church family at the Lowville S.D.A. Church.

No services will be held.
