William Boardman

William Boardman, age 79, of Springboro, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022.

He was born in Syracuse NY on May 15, 1942, a son of the late Harry and Dorothy Stewart Boardman.  William attended East Lake North High School and was employed as a mechanic for J.A. Holtz.  He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Albion and was a member of AA for 34 years.  He loved to go fishing.

In addition to his parents, William was predeceased by four sons; Marcus Boardman, Stephen, John and Richard Gallagher and sister, Carolyn Osborne.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sharon and their children Paul (Lisa) and Billy (Brittany) Boardman, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call Sunday from 1:00pm until the time of prayer service at 4:00 with Rev. Joyce Chapman at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, Girard.  Burial will be private.

Memorials may be made ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­to the family.
