Wilhelmenia Harper

Wilhelmenia Harper, aka “Willie Harper,” age 78, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Western Reserve.

She was born in Vossburg, Miss., a daughter of the late Emmanuel T. and Mary F. Terrell.

Willie attended Southside High School in Mississippi and worked in the healthcare field, ending her career at retirement from the PA Soldiers and Sailors Home in 2002.

She was also a very active member of Mount Ebal AME Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former spouse, William A. Harper.

She is survived by two daughters, Geraldine Harper of Escondido, CA, and Ophelia Lussier of North East, PA and her two grandchildren, Max and Remington Rimple.

Graveside services at Lakeside Cemetery were private at the convenience of the family, with Rev. Cleve Ulmer officiating.
