Wilbert "Randy" Taylor, 83, of Erie, died on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on January 8, 1933, in Princeton, WV, son of the late William J. and Laura Jane Collins Taylor.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Korean War. Mr. Taylor worked for Kondu Corporation for twenty years, retiring in 1984. He loved playing Bingo and always looked forward to riding on Julie's Bingo Bus. He also enjoyed playing cards and following sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Erie Otters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Taylor, a daughter, Liz Berry, and a son, Skip Panty.
Survivors include four daughters, Etta Langer and husband Ken of Erie, and Kathy Brammer, Rhonda Taylor, and Renee Taylor, all of Wilmington, DE and a son, Mark Panty and wife Jan of Pennsylvania. He is further survived by eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. The Scott Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
