Wayne Wolfe, age 70, of Erie, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Landings of Canton, in Canton, OH.
He was born in Erie on April 28, 1947, the son of the late Cletus and Nina Wolfe.
Wayne graduated from Fort LeBoeuf High School and then went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps.
He retired from General Electric.
Wayne was a member of Summit United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his two sons, Timothy and Patrick Wolfe, his two sisters Peggy Ann Wolfe-Holloway and Dawn Fluent. He is further survived by six grandchildren: Augustus, Samantha, Andrew, Zachary, Grant and Natalie.
Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, 602 W. 10th St. Erie on Thursday from 4 pm until the time of the prayer service at 6pm.
A Private burial will be at Erie County Memorial Gardens.
