Wayne Drake

     Wayne J. Drake, 76, of Erie, died Sat., Oct. 6, 2012 at his residence following a lengthy illness.  He was born Dec. 16, 1935 in Mayville, NY, son of the late Harold and Ila Mays Drake.  A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Drake was a truck driver, boat yard mechanic and master cabinet maker, and enjoyed sailing.
     His wife, Patricia preceded him in death.
     Survivors include two daughters, Wendy Drake and Stephanie Carter, both of Erie; a sister, Lorna Drake of Cincinnati, OH; three grandchildren, Matthew, Amber and Troy Drake, all of Erie; and three great-grandchildren, Julian, Rachael and Caiomhe Drake, all of Erie.
     In accordance with Wayne's wishes there will be no visitation or services.  His body will be donated to Humanity Gifts Registry.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle St.  Memorials may be made to Great Lakes Hospice, 1700 Peach St., Erie, PA 16501.
