Virginia Rocco

Virginia Viola “Ginger” Rocco, 89 passed away on April 1, 2018, Easter Sunday surrounded by her family. Born in McKean, Pa on April 16, 1928 to the late Fenton Donahue and Thora Bareski (Marsh) and was raised by her grandparents Jenny and Herbert Donahue.

Ginger was preceded in death by two husbands Richard Brogdon Sr. and Frank Rocco, her daughter Marsha Ann Danser, a son Timothy Rocco, her brother Robert Donahue and her sister Betty Jane DeFranco.

She is survived by her son Richard Brogdon Jr. and his wife Victoria from Erie, 5 grandchildren Jeffery Danser of Orlando, Colleen Martin and Brian Brogdon of Erie, and Anthony and Alexander Rocco of McKean, alone with many great and great-great grand children.

A family service was held on April 5, 2018 however a Memorial Mass honoring Ginger and her grandson Brian Brogdon will be held at St Jude the Apostle Church on July 7^th at 11AM after which a Committal Service and Inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
