Virginia Mae Parker, 77, died suddenly Saturday, April 19, 2014 at her home in Erie. She was formerly of Sampson Rd. Virginia was born Jan. 9, 1937 in Erie, daughter of the late Earl and Pauline Hill Parker. She attended the Barber National Institute, was a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church, enjoyed crocheting and embroidery, painting, and doing seek and find puzzles. She also enjoyed her cat Winkey and her frog Teddy.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ed Parker, Bill Parker and Sam Sipple, a sister, Phyllis Parker, and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Sipple, who cared for her.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Miller and husband Art of Lakeland, FL, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews including Mark and Linda Sipple of Erie.

Friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle St., Wednesday from Noon until the time of service there at 2 p.m. The Rev. Bernard A. Bischoff of Lamb of God Lutheran Church will officiate. Private burial will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Barber National Institute, 100 Barber Place, Erie, PA 16507.
