Virginia Theo Foringer

 Virginia Theo Foringer, age 81, of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday July 31, 2024, at Pleasant Ridge Manor.

She was born October 15, 1942 in Crawford County, a daughter to the late Gordon Henry and Meredythe (Morton) King.

Virginia loved dancing and enjoyed doing Needle Point crafts, embroidering, coloring, and sewing. She most of all cherished raising her children, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Leslie Foringer.

Virginia is survived by her children, Darlene Lawrence, Sherrie Foy, Todd Foringer, Tamie Artz, Jenifer Heim, and Tearza Hanes; 25 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. E, Girard on Sunday, August 4th from 1 PM until 4 PM. And are invited to attend a service there on Monday, August 5th at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Erie County Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
