Violet Post

Violet L. Post, age 87, of Union City, passed away on March 20, 2013 at UPMC Hamot.

Born on January 26, 1926, in Warren, PA she was the daughter of the late George Washington and Tinnie Wright Hill.

She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance, Union City. She enjoyed collecting bibles, reading, crafting, jig saw puzzles and crocheting. She loved all of her precious pets.

Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Fenton D. Post, a brother Harold Sandell and all her beloved pets.

Survivors include daughters, Louise Armagost and husband Lawrence of Lake City; Joyce Schaffer of Erie; grandchildren, Al, Ron, Gil, Steve, and Rudy Ryen, Valerie Haag, and David Shaffer. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

No visitation will be observed.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Union City.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery
