Viola Lintelman

Viola V. Lintelman age 95, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Sarah Reed Senior Living.

She was born in Erie on November 5, 1925, a daughter of the late Arthur J. and Ella Greiner Rose.

She worked at Burke Electric before becoming a devoted homemaker and beloved grandmother who enjoyed caring for her family.

Viola enjoyed playing cards with her card club girls, bowling, ring toss,  cross country skiing, bike riding and crocheting. She loved being outdoors, especially working in her garden. She looked forward to taking trips with her dear friends Jean and the late Eleanor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Lintelman; a son, Robert Arthur Lintelman and a sister, Evelyn Rose.

She is survived by three sons, Thomas Lintelman and his wife Terri of Erie, David Lintelman and his wife Nancy of Waterford and Robert Lintelman and his wife Gina of Erie; two brothers, Earl Rose and Cloyd Rose and his wife Rita; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Thomas, Charlie, Rose, Daniel, Zachary, and Laura Lintelman and two great grandchildren, Hailey and Brooklyn.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Wintergreen 2532 Norcross Rd. on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. John Jacquel officiating. Burial to follow in Phillipsville Union Cemetery.
