Vincent Roney

Vincent P. Roney, age 61, of Fairview, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 29, 2015 at his home following a brief battle with cancer.

He was born June 7, 1954 in Erie, a son of Mitchell M. Roney and the late Lila Fuller Roney.

Vince was the owner and operator of Platz Garage in Fairview. He loved restoring cars, hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janine Sauser Roney; a daughter, Tina M. Sumner and her husband Kenneth of Fairview; seven brothers and sisters: Mike Roney, Micki Wellington, Renee Pettis, Sandi Johnson, Colleen Hupp, Shawna Grososky and Robert Roney; and three grandchildren: Kingston, Violet and London Sumner; as well as many nieces and nephews.
