Vincent Prindle, age 80, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at UPMC Hamot surrounded by his family.
He was born on January 9, 1942, in Erie, to the late Carl and Laura Cancilla Prindle.
Before serving our country in the United States Army, he attended General McLane High School. Vince was employed at Uniflow, retiring after 30 years and continued to work another 27 years at First Student as a bus driver. Vince was a humorous man who enjoyed sci-fi, martial arts and cowboy movies. He loved bowling, hunting, fishing, coin collecting, Amazon shopping, attending auctions, and a “good cup of coffee”. Vince, along with his wife, had a green thumb and was an avid gardener who loved to watch the butterflies and birds. He was always punctual being 15 minutes early for everything. Vince was a true patriot, a proud man and a straight shooter that loved his family. He was a dedicated worker all the way to the end of his life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three sisters and six brothers.
Vince leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Gloria Ananea Prindle; daughters, Toni Harmon, Caroline Prindle, Jennifer Prindle, Cathrine Prindle, Paula Carr and Andrea Newberry; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Vince did not like being the center of attention so per his wishes, no visitation hours will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc Downtown, 602 W 10th St, Erie, PA 16502.
