Vincent Madison

February 18, 1961 — June 29, 2013

Vincent Lamont “Mad Dog” Madison, Sr., age 52 of Erie, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 29, 2013, surrounded by family and friends.

He was born in Erie, Pa., February 18, 1961, the son of Eleanor McKnight, and the late Willie Dill, Sr.

Vincent was a loving father and husband, and a giving person. He had tremendous love for his dogs, especially his personal friend and guard dog Zeusie.

He enjoyed entertaining, barbequing, and being around family and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Darryl Henderson, Bernard Dill and Kimberly Madison.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Deborah Madison of 18 years; Carol Madison, the mother of his children; children: Vincent Lamont Madison, Jr. (Ann Marie), Stephanie, Jennifer, Sandy Huston and Charles Budd; brothers: Rodney Madison, Willie Dill, Jr., Painesville, Abdul Mutaguem, CA, sisters: Jacqueline Madison Thomas (James), Pittsburgh, Delores Thorton, Chicago, IL, Leslie Sims (Tony), Cleveland, OH, Linda Adams (Danny), Houston, TX, Libby Jones, Erie. He is also survived by his niece Alisa Young and nephew Raheem Kilgore, and will be dearly missed by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other family and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 10 am to 1 pm with the service to be held there immediately following at 1 pm.

Burial will be at Erie Cemetery.

In lieu of flower donations may be made to the family c/o Burton Funeral Home, 602 West 10th Street, Erie, PA 16502.
