Vincent L. Leone

Vincent L. Leone age 76, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at UPMC Hamot surrounded by his family, following a brief illness. 

He was born in Erie on August 30, 1948, a son of the late Vincent F. and Elizabeth Banko Leone. 

Vincent graduated from Strong Vincent High School and went on to serve in the United States Army. 

He worked as a welder for American Sterilizer for over 30 years and then for GE until his retirement. 

Vincent enjoyed fishing, visiting the casino and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. Vincent also loved his coffee. Most of all, Vincent loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Antonette “Tania” Osiecki Leone; two children, Ryan M. Leone and Julie Marie Orton and her husband Matthew; two grandchildren, Matthew Ryan Leone and Maria “Mia” Orton; his siblings, Debbie Macaluso Snyder, Shirley Sadler and her husband Gus and Scott Leone and his wife Michelle; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26th Street on Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a private service to follow with full Military Honors.
