Vernice Pullium, 85, of Erie, passed away Friday, November 1, 2013 at Saint Vincent Health Center. She was born in Unity, Illinois December 21, 1927 to Viola Fisher. She married to Earnest L. Pullium February 25, 1946 and they moved to Erie in 1950. Vernice was a member of the Second Baptist Church. She was a Sunday School Teacher, choir member, President of the Busy Beaver Club, and teacher of the Allegheny Union Baptist Association. She liked fishing and loved to cook. She also cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband Earnest L. Pullium; her mother Viola Fisher; daughters Charlene Crosby and Sharon S. Pullium Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons Lionel (Monica), Ollie (Glorydere), Alan (Delores), Ricky, David (Monique); 34 grandchildren; 74 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Second Baptist Church 757 E 26th St Erie, PA 16504 on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and may attend the homegoing celebration there on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Erie Cemetery.
