Veatrice Morganfield

Veatrice Louise (Tootsie) Morganfield age 56 of Erie, died peacefully at UPMC Hamot on January 28, 2014. She was born in Erie, Pa. on August 26, 1957 a daughter of the late Johnny and Johnnie Jenkins McCloud.

She attended East High School, was a homemaker and for many years was an active member of Second Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She enjoyed her family, shopping and playing bingo and cards.

In addition to her parents, Veatrice was preceded in death by a sister Cheryl McCloud and a brother Johhny McCloud.

She is survived by her companion Dwight Reynolds of Erie, two sons; Quincy McCloud and his wife Lecreasa of Charlotte, N.C. and Quinten Morganfield and his girlfriend Marjo Passamonte both of Erie, her brothers; Billy McCloud (Loretta), Howard McCloud, Andre McCloud (Kristy), Dwayne Fletcher (Barbie), William (Ed) Fletcher, her sisters; Donna Horton (Tony), Trina Hyche (Willie), Lisa Jenkins (Greg), Adrianne McCloud, Lolita Brewer (Marocco), as well as three special girlfriends; Gloria Jean Johnson and Mary Gore of Erie and Sandra Jean Butler of Cochranton, PA. Veatrice also leaves nine grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at Second Baptist Church 757 East 26th Street, Erie, Pa. 16504 on Monday from 5-8 pm and are invited to services there on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Reverend Dr. Allen B.
