Valeria Novacco

Valeria Vatovaz Novacco, age 92, of Erie died Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at St. Mary's Asbury Ridge.

Born April 16, 1921 in Marengo, Italy, Valeria was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Antonia Bembic Vatovaz. She was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, and had been a homemaker most of her life.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Pietro Novacco.

She is survived by her son, Luciano Novacco and his wife Jackie, of Clarkston, MI; her daughter, Valerie Novacco, of Erie; two sisters, Albina Bembic and Francesca Stok, both of Italy; a granddaughter, Julie Werner and her husband Edward; two great- grandchildren, Eddie and Sophia.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street at Powell Avenue on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Calling will continue Saturday at Saint Mary's Asbury Ridge from 9 a.m. until the time of her Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. with the Reverend G. William Fischer celebrant.

Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
