Trina Pope

Trina Marie Moffatt Pope, age 57, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at UPMC Hamot Hospital.

She was born on January 7, 1964, in Erie, a daughter to Esker Smith and Mattie Larkin Moffatt.

Trina graduated from Tech Memorial High School. She enjoyed working at the Presbyterian Lodge – Elmwood Gardens for 21 years. She loved people, especially children. Get-togethers with her family created Trina’s favorite memories. She loved to go shopping, watch movies, play the lottery and card games. Trina had a sweet tooth in particular for Neapolitan ice cream.

She was preceded in death by her mother; sister, Teriann Smith; sisters-in-law; Ester and Dorothy Lee; brothers-in-law, Johnnie Mae, J. W. Jr., and Bobby Earl; nephews, Kareem Moffatt and Willie Smith; step-father, William Earl Moffatt; grandparents, Napoleon and Anola Larkin and Vinnie Smith; and uncle, William Earl Larkin.

In addition to her father, Trina will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 35 years, Frank Pope; a daughter, Shanice Moffatt; two sons, Jamal (fiancé Kaila) Moffatt and Antonio Moffatt; grandchildren, Nilah Moffatt and Bryson App; sisters, Vickie (Donald) Williams, Penny L Moffatt, Sandra Gore, Michelle (Mike) Pittman, Taleah Knight, and Tanesah Knight; brothers, William Larkin and Taurean Knight; aunts, Annie Lou (Ester) McLaurin, Jean Page, and Lois Knight; uncle, Sam (Bernice) Larkin; special niece, Erika Logan; step-mother, Theresa Smith; step-son, Frankie Pope, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc, 602 W 10^th St, Erie 16502 on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. with a service officiated by Pastor R. L. Trainer from New Hope Ministries. Burial to follow in Erie Cemetery.
