Timothy Donovan

Timmy Donovan, formerly of West 8th St, Skyline Drive, Schmidt Towers, and Edinboro Manor, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022.  He was born in Erie on December 29, 1959, a son of the late Robert and Mary (McCarthy) Donovan.

He worked for many years at Valerio’s restaurant locations around Erie.  When he was younger, he was an Erie Times News paperboy.

Tim made friends wherever he went.  He loved bowling and attending hockey games.  He was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians. Tim loved spending holidays with his family.

Survived by siblings Jacqueline (Jackie) Donovan Susi of Gresham, OR, Neil (Heather) of Edinboro, PA, Peter of Harmony, PA, Matthew (Dianne) of Fairfax, VA, as well as his uncle Thomas Ritter of North East, PA, aunts Margaret Donovan of Erie, PA and Marta McCarthy Castro of Santiago,  Chile — along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Grace Church, 7300 Grubb Rd, McKean, PA 16426 on Monday, February 28, from 10:30 a.m. until 12 noon, with funeral service to immediately follow.  Burial will be private.

Memorials may be made to Sarah Reed Children’s Center 2445 W 34th St, Erie, PA 16506.
