Thomas Wolfgang, Jr.

Thomas Wolfgang, Jr, age 82, of Erie passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at UPMC Hamot after an extended illness.

He was born in South Hill, VA on March 25, 1939, the son of the late Thomas and Murtis (Thompson) Wolfgang, Sr. Thomas was also preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.

He was employed at Presque Isle, City Iron Works, Continental Rubber, and Republican Water Heater before his retirement.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lucy M. (Rizzo) Wolfgang; a son Thomas Wolfgang III of Tucson, AZ and two daughters, Roseanne Murphy and her husband Brian of Townville, PA and Sharon Sallot and her husband Brian of Wesleyville. He is the grandfather of Christine & Ashley Ploss and Dylan Sallot, and is also survived by a sister-in-law, Rosalind Bizzarro and nieces, Josie and Jennie and their families.

There will be no visitation or services. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in c/o the Quinn Funeral Home, 728 West 9th St., Erie, PA 16502.
