Thomas Vaughn

Thomas Earl Vaughn, age 54, of Erie, PA passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. He was born March, 19 1967 to Fred McCall and Geraldine Vaughn. Thomas graduated from Strong Vincent High School, he worked for General Electric and A.O. Smith for several years. He was a life time member of Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ, with Bishop J.D. Myer as pastor, now Elder Willie Harris.

Thomas attended Wilbur Force University from 1985 to 1987, later he pursued a pharmaceutical license in 2001, leading him to work for a year in that field at Frontier Pharmacy, in Erie, PA.

Thomas is preceded in death by his father, Fred McCall, his grandparents, Moses and Christine Vaughn, uncles, Joseph Lewis Vaughn, and Moses Vaughn Jr. He is further preceded by his aunts, Armenda McCall, and Gloria Jean Odom.

Thomas leaves behind his mother, Geraldine Vaughn, his children, Erika Yeast, Lexi Vaughn, Gabrielle Vaughn, Camisha, Myisha, and Danisha. He is further survived by 6 grandchildren Nick, Nakiya, Ny’Shawn, Nalauni, D’Amara, D’Emico, 2 great grandsons, and his step father, Eddie Tate.  Thomas is survived by his siblings Armanda Vaughn, Tanaga Howard, Derrick McCall, Carman McCall, Andre McCall, and Melissa McCall. He is survived by many aunts, Glenda, Helen, Cynthia, Kathy, Brenda, and a special aunt Sonya (Vaughn) Carter, uncles, Sam Vaughn and Gregory Vaughn, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Thomas was a down to earth person, fun loving, and was a person who never met a stranger. He was a breath of fresh air.

Friends are invited to call on the family at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown 602 W. 10^th Street, Erie, Friday, June 18, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 Noon, with Bishop Dwane Brock presiding. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery.
