Thomas H. Sutton

Thomas H. Sutton age 67, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday July 28 2024, as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was born in Durham, NC on November 17, 1956, a son of the late Charles R. and Margaret Gooch Sutton.

Tom attended Plum Boro High School in Pittsburgh, and worked for over 25 year as a Semi Truck driver for UPS Freight and currently at T Force Freight, where he was the Union Stewart for Local 397 for many years. Tom loved being at his camp in Corry during his off time. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and polishing his cars. He was a Masonic member of Perry Keystone Lodge #397 F.&A.M.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Roger K. Sutton.

Tom is survived by his companion/fiancé of over 24 years Donna Loftus Layden; brothers, Christopher Sutton and his wife Kathi of Erie and Charles Ricard Sutton and his wife Mary of Syracuse, NY; Stepchildren: Danielle DiFilippo and her husband Dan; Anthony Orsini; and Alisa Orsini and her companion Kevi Tate; Grandchildren: Nicholas, Anna Marie, Aaron, Brendan, Riley, Ty, Vincent, Dominic, Kelise, Keelan, Italia, and Cameron; nephews and niece: Chris Sutton Jr., Kenny Sutton, Jerimiah Sutton, Ryan Krysiak and Katrina Krysiak; great nephews and great niece, Henry, Oliver, Charlie, Coen and Quinn.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, on Saturday from 1pm until the time of service at 5pm.
