Thomas Arthur Condon passed quietly Sunday, October 25, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born February 24, 1960 to Barbara Cruise Weaver and James Mason Condon of Erie. Tom attended St. George School in Erie, Pa. and graduated from Warren Area High School. Ever industrious, Tommy began his career in the food industry as a pizza maker at age 16 in Warren, Pa. He moved to Colorado where he worked for Costco as a Bakery Manager. In 1986 Tom graduated from the Kansas Culinary Institute of Baking where he excelled. In 1991 Tom began a new career in the construction industry. He rose to the level of surveying and laser specialist. He suffered a devastating injury on the job and was unable to continue in the career he loved.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-parents, Jonilee Condon, Larry B. Weaver, brothers J. Michael Condon of Greeley, Co., Tim Condon (Qing) of Erie, sisters Elaine Gustafson (Bob) of Sewickley, Pa. and Cecilia Metcalf (Ron) of Colorado Springs, Co. He is also survived by the nephews and nieces who adored his charming manner and gift of love: Sarah Metcalf (fiancé Steven Lanosga) of Grand Junction, Co., Eric and Morgan Metcalf of Colorado Springs and Karl and Dane Gustafson of Sewickley, Pa. He is further survived by his great-nephew, Izaac Mason Lanosga of Grand Junction, Co., his uncle and aunt, Fritz and Jackie Condon of Solon, Ohio and numerous cousins throughout the U.S.
A Reception of Friends will be held at the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street, Monday, November 16, 2015 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. George Church, 5145 Peach Street, Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 10 a.m. celebrated by Father Brandon Kleckner.
