Thomas Clark, age 73, formerly of Erie, passed away at his residence in El Paso, TX on March 8, 2024 after succumbing to a lengthy illness.
He was born in Erie, PA on March 2, 1951 to the late Wilford and Loretta Clark. Tom graduated from Cathedral Prep High School. He attended Penn State Behrend and graduated from Mercyhurst College with an Associate Degree in Business. Tom was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years at Hammermill Paper. He enjoyed the outdoors and everything that went along with it including camping, fishing and hiking; and also traveling with his wife, Lisa.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his former wife of 36 years, Okhui Clark; brother Stanley Clark and infant sister, Joann Clark.
Tom is survived by his children, Christy Kirner (Brent), David Clark (Samantha); his wife, Lisa Clark; sisters Patricia Byers (Willis) and Christine Benny (Larry); brother Dan Clark and former sister-in-law, Kellie Clark. He’s further survived by nieces and nephews, Nicholas Clark, Ann Marie Gabler (Andy), Joanne Trojanowski and Joseph Byers.
Friends are invited to call at Burton Quinn Scott Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross rd., Erie, PA on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
