Theresa L. Delinski, age 79, went to eternal rest on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at UPMC Hamot. She was born on May 24, 1943, in Erie, PA, a daughter of Louise and John Karmazin.
Theresa was a 1960 graduate of Villa Maria Academy, and worked many different jobs. She retired from the Erie Parking Authority and was able to enjoy retirement with her family, traveling and listening to Polka music. Theresa also enjoyed attending mass at St. Luke Church and praying the Holy Rosary, in addition to celebrating her Polish heritage through food, dance, and song. Most recently, she enjoyed spending time with her great-granddaughter, Alexandria, and enjoying the classics like Family Feud.
In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her husband (and love of her life), Raymond Delinski in 2017; son-in-law, Casimir Kania in 2017; daughter Cheryl Kania in 2016, and her son, Raymond Delinski, Jr. in 2012. She is also preceded by her two brothers, Frank and Joseph Karmazin.
Theresa is survived by her granddaughter Arianne (Darren Julius) her great granddaughter, Alexandria, her daughter-in-law, Tresa, and her little schnauzer Mattie. She is also survived by her sister, Dolores, as well as many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church, 421 E. 38th St., Erie, PA 16504 on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Fr. John Malthaner presiding. Burial at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery will be private.
