Terry Jo Ramey

Terry Jo Ramey, age 74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at her home after an extended illness.

She was born on October 12, 1950, in Erie, to the late Ronald and Geraldine (VanCise) Taylor.

Terry attended Girard High School before moving to Oregon to complete her high school education. When she returned to the Erie area, she earned a license in cosmetology and worked alongside her mother for a short time before starting at Spectrum Control where she worked for over 34 years. Terry loved her children and grandchildren. She especially loved camping and fishing with her husband, Roy. Terry enjoyed playing the lottery and going to the casino with friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Roy Ramey Sr.

She leaves behind to cherish her in memory, her children, Stephanie Kasper (Jason Judd) and Stephen Kasper (Staci); grandson, Ronald Kasper (Amanda) and granddaughter, Alexis Kasper. She is further survived by her longtime friend and caregiver, Pam Maynard and sister, Dawnita Sterling.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St East, on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until time of sharing at 4:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
