Teresa Hetz

Teresa “Terri” Rene Hetz, age 64 of Lake City, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Indiana, PA a daughter of Marjorie McCullough Lemmon Wallace and the late Kenneth Lemmon.

Terri was a 1975 graduate of North East High School. She had worked as a Notary and a Veterinarian assistant over the years in Erie. She loved animals, particularly her puppy Mini. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and her wagon rides.  She was a talented auto body repair person and worked alongside of her father at an early age.  She was a loving wife and a good mother.

In addition to her mother, Marjorie McCullough Lemmon Wallace and her husband John of North East, she is survived by her husband of 17 years Matt Hetz of Lake City; a son Jeremey Barton of Oklahoma; a daughter Sara Wakefield and her husband Ryan of Oklahoma; a brother Chris Lemmon and his wife Belinda of North East; a sister: Lisa Lemmon of McKean; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. Girard.
