Sylvia Jean Brown Fouch Leonard, age 74, died Saturday, November 28, 2015, at her home in Erie. She was born on August 17, 1941, in Big Otter, WV, daughter of the late William and Violet Butler Brown. Sylvia worked at various jobs throughout her life, was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends, and enjoyed playing computer games.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Fouch; a daughter, Barbara Jean Fouch; three sisters, Linda Brown, Jewel Faye Brown and Mille Magalene Brown; two brothers, Larry and Rodger Brown; and two grandsons, Jacob Pushinsky and Steven Archer.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Pushinsky (Mark) of Erie; a son, Robert James "Jim" Fouch (Sherri Lambert) of Erie; a brother, William Brown (Carol) of Erie; four sisters, Wanda Highfill (Danny), Patricia Lawson (Joseph) and Brenda Dillon, all of Erie, and Joyce Pierson (James) of Edinboro, PA; three grandchildren, Charlie Archer, Kalie Abshier and Zachary Pushinsky; two great-Grandchildren, Brendan and Kaden Archer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street, Thursday from 5 p.m. until the time of a Memorial Service there at 7 p.m. The Rev. Richard A. Moyer will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be designated to the family through the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street, Erie, PA 16502.
