Susanne Marie Thomas

Susanne Marie Thomas, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Saint Vincent Hospital with her daughter at her side. 

She was born on March 5, 1948, in Erie, to the late Roger E. and Marie Fenstermacher Hayford.

Sue graduated from Strong Vincent High School. She enjoyed serving as an EMT for the Bellsville, Ohio area. Sue was a loving mother who loved her family with all her heart. She was always up for a good cup of coffee. 

In addition to her life partner of 53 years, Thomas Snyder, she is preceded in death by two infant children, Tommy and Rita Thomas.

She leaves behind to cherish her in memory, her daughters, Patricia Snyder (fiancé Eric Brown), Jody Holcomb and Laurie Price; son, Tom Youngs (wife Michelle); brothers, Gerry L. Hayford, John E. Hayford, Terry T. Hayford (wife Patty), Randy Hayford Sr, (wife Laura) and Kip K. Hayford (wife Gretchen) and sisters, Romayne Hess, Sande Flynn and Cindy Myers. She is further survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, one soon to be great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Friends are invited to call on the family at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10^th Street, on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6:00 p.m.
