Susan E. Miller Waidley Wells

Susan E. Miller Waidley Wells age 81, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at her residence.

She was born in Erie on November 19, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Wynola Hollister Miller.

Susan was a 1962 graduate of Villa Maria High School.

She worked as a waitress for many years at her family-owned Ernie’s Restaurant, Fergie’s and Takis.

Susan was a very kindhearted person who had many great friends and some even from grade school and middle school.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Waidley; her 2nd husband, Robert Wells, a sister, Janet Adams, and brother in law William Adams.

She is survived by two daughters, Christine Waidley and Michelle Atwood (Christopher); a stepson, Andrew Wells (Melissa); a brother, James Miller (Sandra) and many beloved step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Susan’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506.

Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
