Susan Gurd

Susan M. Gurd age 63, of Erie, passed away peacefully, at home, with her husband and daughter by her side, on Saturday March 3, 2018.

She was born in Erie, PA on July 14,1954 a daughter of the late John and Shirley Bukowski Schoullis Sr., graduated from East High School and had the most important career of all, caring for her family.

Susan had two passions in her life, her family and dance. She danced with the Little Dance Studio for over 30 years. She loved her plants, adored her cats, and was very content sitting on the swing with her husband, Ian. She was a woman who truly loved her family, and enjoyed spending every moment with them, “just being together”. Susan had a fun loving nature, beautiful smile, a contagious laugh and always thought of others before herself.

Susan is survived by her husband of 36 years Ian, her daughter Andrea Marie (fiancé Keith Kinter), and her beloved grandchildren, Aubrie and Jorden. Susan is further survived by her sister, Kimberley (Mark) Long, her brother, John A Schoullis Jr. (Lynnette Ward) and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Regional Cancer Center for their kindness and care during her illness.
