Susan J. Flanagan, age 80, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at UPMC Hamot Hospital. She was born in Erie, January 2, 1945, the daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Clark) Coffey, and her late stepmother, Emilia Coffey.
Susan was an incredibly hard-working woman, up until her retirement from the service industry a few years ago.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Flanagan.
Susan is survived by her children, Rick (Rebecca), Randy (Gretchen), Jamie Wheeler, and Caitlynn (Chris) McCarthy, and a stepson Michael (Christina). She is further survived by her sister, Sarah Entley (Art), and stepsisters Olivia Balczon and Mary Ann Frew (David). Susan is survived by her grandchildren, Traci, Tanya, Trysha, Tanner, Jake, Jesse, Brad, Dani, Broegan, Declan, and step grandchildren, Brittany, Austin, and Joe, as well as several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Inurnment in Calvary Cemetery will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10th Street, Erie.
