She also enjoyed volunteer work at Emmaus Soup Kitchen, The Young People’s Chorus and the Neighborhood Art House Core Committee.  Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Sally Wurst DiSantis.

She is survived by two sons: Dan DiCara and his husband, Tim, of Hull, MA and James DiCara and his wife Tracy of Quakertown; two grandchildren: Nicholas and Caitlin DiCara; three sisters: Martha Hilbert and her husband Bill Sr., Patricia Herrmann, and Nancy Wurst, all of Erie; former husband: James DiCara, and her granddogs: Ollie and Leo.  She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
