Sue Mohr

Sue Mohr, age 86, formerly of Lake City, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Erie on September 15, 1930, a daughter of the late Pearl “P.G.” and Elizabeth Willis Richardson.

She graduated from Girard High School in 1948. Sue worked at Buyers Fair and the American Red Cross Disaster Service for many years until her retirement.

Sue was a member of Lake City Presbyterian Church and a Toast Mistress. She had been a judge of elections in Lake City for over 40 years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and dancing. She loved her pets and had raised Collies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur John Mohr; a sister,

Donna Callahan; and 3 brothers, Gerald, Kenny and Francis “Bim” Richardson.

Sue is survived by her children: Gary A. Mohr M.D. and his wife Christina of Westcliffe, CO, Marilyn Ferringer R.N. and her husband, Ron of Fairview, Suzanne Elizabeth Tremayne and her husband Robert of Long Island, NY, Marjorie J. Randall and her husband Bert of Girard and Mitzi Mohr of Colorado Springs, CO. She is further survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East in Girard on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm and are invited to attend a funeral service there on Friday at 11 am with Rev. Debbie Rimmer officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
