Stephanie Danielle Buckel

Stephanie Danielle Buckel age 37, of McKean, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024. 

She was born in Erie on October 19, 1986 a daughter of John P. and Elaine Seely Buckel of McKean. 

Stephanie graduated from General McLane High School and Penn State Behrend. 

Stephanie was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She loved spending time with her niece and nephews, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards. She also enjoyed watching hockey, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins. 

Stephanie was a devoted Christian who attended the Source Church in Pittsburgh. She came to faith in July of 2023 and sought to make big changes in her life to reflect her faith.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Melvin Seely and John P. Buckel, Sr. and a great grandmother, Dorothy Ann Hodges. 

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Kathryn E. Buckel; a brother, Alan J. Buckel (Lindsey); nephews, John Cyrus Buckel and Boudreaux Glenn Knight; a niece, Clementine Elaine Knight; grandmothers, Roberta A. Buckel and Jane Seely and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26^th Street on Thursday, February 8^th from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help pay for funeral expenses.
