Shirleyann Waite

ShirleyAnn Mando Waite, age 77, of Erie, passed away on May 5, 2013.

She was born in Erie, PA on July 19, 1935 daughter of Louis and Virginia Herlet Mando.

She attended Wesleyville High School and was employed for 10 years at the Waterford Elementary School as lunchroom supervisor. While employed there she was kindly known as "The Warden".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Merale Mando and her in-laws Samuel and Frances Waite.

Survivors include her husband Kerry L. Waite; a son Richard (Vicki) Shreve of Erie; two daughters Kristine (Joseph) Sullivan of Erie and Melody (Russell) Boyd of St. Peter, MO; five grandchildren Mark Sullivan, Nicole Jezowicz, Rhiannon Shreve, Tara Laramie, and Ryan Boyd, and ten great grandchildren. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Friends may call at Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th (at Powell Avenue) on Tuesday, May 7th, from 1pm to 3pm.
