Shirley Kingen

Shirley Jardine Burger Kingen, age 83, of Erie, passed away at her residence on January 3, 2019. She was born in Erie, May 27, 1935, daughter to the late Donald E. and Beryl Suesser Jardine.

Shirley was a homemaker, spending much of her time caring for her beloved family. She was a former member of American Legion #773 as well as the Siebenbuerger Club. Shirley loved to travel.

Besides her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her two husbands, John Burger and Robert Kingen; and a brother, Donald Jardine.

Shirley is survived by her children; Pamela Fitzpatrick (Robert), and John E. Burger (Kathy), her brother, Robert Jardine of Arizona, and her sister, Marilyn Cammillo (Carmine) of Erie. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Robert Fitzpatrick (Jessica), Sarah Burger, and Andrew Burger (Rachael), as well as 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation and funeral services will be private.
