Shirley Izbicki

Shirley Ann Izbicki age 85 of Erie, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Presque Isle

Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born in Erie on July 9, 1928 a daughter of the late Leo and Elizabeth Takach Ganzer.

She attended St Vincent High school and had worked for Marx Toys in Girard.

She love bowling and belonged to TOPS.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Casimir Izbick and a brother Richard

Ganzer.

She is survived by two daughters: Patricia (Charles) Moyer of Lake City; Nancy Saunders of Erie; a son

Casey Izbicki of Erie; a sister Betty Little of Waterford; a brother Frank Gaczkowski of Erie; three

grandsons: Charles (Debra) Moyer Jr. ; James (Vickie) Karle; and David (Amanda) Karle; two

granddaughters: Pamela (Michael) Grappy and Kristen Karle; seven great grandchildren; Kelsey, Caleb,

Joshua. Cambria, Grace, Delia, Chloe; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may attend a Memorial Mass on Tuesday at 11am at St. John Catholic Church, 101 Olin Ave.

Girard, with Rev. William Miller celebrant. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery at a later date.

Arrangements entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St., Girard.
