Sherry Jarvi

Sherry Kaputa Jarvi, age 67, of Girard, passed away on Friday November 1, 2024, at her residence.

She was born in Meadville, PA on May 7, 1957, a daughter of the late Sally M. Weigle and Joseph Kaputa Jr.

Sherry graduated from Northwestern High School in 1975 and worked for over 26 years at Rich Products in Lake City and more recently was the manager of Burger King in Fairview. She retired from Walmart working in the Bakery.

She loved crafting and selling her crafts, baking particularly pumpkins rolls, and enjoyed thrift shopping. She was a member of the Girard American Legion Post 494. Her biggest joy was her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Jarvi.

She is survived by her daughter, Terry Mook (Jim Klemm); two grandchildren, Kyle Mihalak and Brady Mook; a brother, Joseph Kaputa III (Diane); a sister, Diane Watters; a nephew, Joeseph Kaputa IV; and two nieces, Mackenzie and Sydney Watters. 

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, Girard, on Saturday November 9th from 2pm until the time of service at 4pm.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
