Sherri A. Ballard, age 51, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Meadville Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 13, 1971, in Erie, to Terry and Rose (Kirk) Plyler.
Sherri graduated from Northwestern High School. She loved cheering on her kids as she attended all of their football and baseball games, and traveled to all color guard competitions. Sherri was always volunteering to help out, and enjoyed giving her time to various causes. From raffles, local music festivals, fire department events, and fund raisers, chances are you saw her laughing and boosting the spirits of everyone at the front gates. Sherri was a people person with a heart of gold, and she will be remembered for her beautiful blue eyes! She had a great sense of humor and, good or bad, loved getting people’s reactions. Sherri loved taking pictures, almost too much, of everything she could possibly think of. Seriously, she took ALL the pictures. She also loved animals and was obsessed with black and white "moo cows". She took after her dad, and was always “Daddy’s girl”, calling her mom and checking on both of them every day. The only thing she loved more was her grandson Payden, whom she spent as much time with as she could.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ballard, Jr. and grandmother, Sarah Burger.
In addition to her parents, Sherri will be forever loved by her children, Elizabeth Plyler (husband Cody Brewer), Adam Ballard (wife Allie Linn), and Eric Ballard; grandson, Payden Ballard (Adam and Allie); sister, Kelly Plyler; sister-in-law, Lisa Carnes (husband Gary); good friend, Freddy; best friend, Vicki Myhoffer-Corbitt; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. She is further survived by her grandpup, Rosco and granddogter, Nova.
Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at the Federated Church, 11995 Main St, East Springfield, PA 16411 on December 10, 2022 at 3:00 P.M.
