Sheila “Sheets” Valimont Boehm

Sheila “Sheets” Valimont Boehm, age 60 of Erie, lost her battle with Alzheimer’s disease on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Pleasant Ridge Manor. She was born in Erie, on January 24, 1957, daughter of the late Wilfred and Dolores Pettorini Valimont.

Sheila was a 1976 graduate of McDowell High School and worked for Bonded Services for many years.  She enjoyed the music of Kenny Rogers and Dr. Hook and loved The Wizard of OZ.  Sheila was an avid dog lover, cook and in years past, she loved to draw.  She was the life of the party and always put a smile on everyone’s face.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Valimont.

Sheila is survived by her son, Brian Boehm, of Erie,her brother, Bruce Valimont, of Erie, two sisters, Melanie Valimont (Fiancé, Mike Houghton), of Erie and Debbie (Tom) Stone, of Chandler, AZ, and sister-in-law, Cheryl Valimont, of Erie and her former husband and friend, David H. Boehm.  She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of Lakeland Hospice and Pleasant Ridge Manor for their loving care.

Friends may call at Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th St., Erie, on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.  A funeral service will be held there on Thursday, October 19^th at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
